Nets Daily reports New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu is in New York for consultations with an ankle specialist following her severe ankle sprain earlier in the week. While The Liberty didn’t name the specialist, there has been speculation she was meeting with HSS foot and ankle surgeon, Martin J. O’Malley, MD, as HSS is the official team hospital.
