Sports Illustrated reports on Brooklyn Nets Dariq Whitehead's recovery after having surgery to address the stress reaction in his left shin.

The surgery was performed by Martin J. O'Malley, MD, foot and ankle surgeon at HSS. The surgery turned out to be successful, and he is expected to have a healing period of approximately three months.
