NJ.com reports that St. Peter’s Prep senior London Robinson was named the winner of the 2022 USA Football’s Heart of a Giant Award. The award is presented annually by HSS and the New York Giants, which honors nominees for their commitment, teamwork, will, character and dedication.

Robinson is recognized for his academic achievements as a straight-A student, the captain of the St. Peter's Prep football team, and individual who gives back to his community through volunteering with organizations including his local soup kitchen. He was selected as the 2022 award recipient for being a role model to his fellow classmates and teammates. 

His mother, Joi, his teammates, coaches and classmates were all on hand in the St. Peter’s Prep gymnasium for what was a surprise ceremony. Robinson originally thought he was being named a finalist, but when New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard walked up to him with the grand-prize trophy, he experienced nothing but pure shock.
