According to Skolnik, staying well-hydrated is important for every aspect of health and wellness, but it's especially crucial around a running routine.
Skolnik explained, “Running and sweating increases the amount of fluid we need.”
Dehydration can occur when lost fluids are not replaced and could be exacerbated by the running environment or length of exercise — that can lead to poorer performance, fatigue, and headaches.
She added, “You'll have a much easier time staying hydrated if you make it a part of your overall fueling plan.”
