City & State New York names HSS president and CEO, Louis A. Shapiro, to the 2022 “Health Care Power 100” – honoring public health officials, hospital executives, labor leaders, activists, and other influential figures, who have shaped New York’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and other pressing health care matters over the past year.

Mr. Shapiro is noted for his work over the past 15 years to help grow HSS and expand its facilities, including the opening of HSS Midtown which offers a wide range of services for pain management, spine health and other orthopedic care.
