]]>In this podcast interview, Paulo RP Selber, MD, FSBOT, FRACS, pediatric orthopedic surgeon at HSS discussed the importance of gait analysis and how it helps patients with cerebral palsy. 

Gait analysis, or more modernly, motion analysis is a scan that helps us see how people walk. The motion analysis lab gives us a lot of information about how a person is moving. More than that, it measures how the muscles are working and being activated or not, and how much oxygen a person is using while walking, explained Dr. Selber.
