'Strong Is The New Pretty'

US Lacrosse Magazine published a feature article on HSS sports medicine surgeon Karen M. Sutton, MD, who is also the head team physician of U.S. Women's Lacrosse.

According to the article, Dr. Sutton exercised six times a week in preparation for the 2018 New York City Marathon.

"Strong is the new pretty," she said.

Additionally, Dr. Sutton demonstrated how to perform Bulgarian squats, an exercise that helps with core, glute, and hamstring strength.

This article appeared in the November 2018 print issue.
