Research finds lowest average cost of hip, knee replacements at 3 New York City hospitals

Becker's Spine Review reports healthcare rankings authority Dexur analyzed Medicare claims for the cost of care over a 90-day period for hip and knee replacements at hospitals in New York City.

The data includes the index hospitalizations, rehospitalization, home health, nursing home and ED costs, and indicated HSS as one of three hospitals to demonstrate the lowest cost for care.
