‘I Was Trying To Get My Brain Back, So I Enrolled In A Lot Of School’

Northeastern University spotlights alumnus Paul Coyne, DNP, MBA, MS, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, associate vice president, clinical practice and chief nursing informatics officer at HSS, and his vision to do everything he can to help people with chronic health problems, after experiencing a stroke himself.

Today, Coyne is fulfilling that goal in his role at HSS, with his experience as a caregiver, a patient, and with fresh eyes on nursing. He believes a mix of clinical awareness, business knowledge, and fluency in data and technology is what will drive the healthcare industry into the future.
