MSG hosted HSS physical therapist Ioonna Felix, PT, DPT, OCS, live on-air at the Invesco Tennis Series to discuss the importance of tennis players staying hydrated during humid weather.
"You should always drink before you get thirsty, and a good rule of thumb is before you play a match, 48 hours before, you want to start to drink about 50 percent of your body weight in fluid ounces," said Felix.
She noted that proper hydration, nutrition and sleep are important for recovering properly.
