Mets’ Carrasco has surgery to remove bone fragment in elbow

The Associated Press reports Mets right-hander Carlos Carrasco underwent a successful surgery to remove a bone fragment from his pitching elbow on October 19 performed by David W. Altchek, MD, sports medicine surgeon and co-chief emeritus of the HSS Sports Medicine Institute at HSS and Medical Director for the New York Mets.
