Behind every athlete competing at the highest level is a team of medical professionals working tirelessly behind the scenes to help keep players healthy and performing at their best.
At the center of that effort is Daphne Scott, MD, sports medicine physician at HSS, who oversees the day-to-day medical care and management of the New York Knicks. She is one of only six women in her position in the 30-team league, according to the National Basketball Association.
