Lamont undergoes second hip replacement, recovering at home

The Associated Press reports Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont is recovering from hip replacement surgery performed at HSS Stamford, which was similar to the surgery he experienced one year ago on the opposite hip, according to his spokesperson.

The spokesperson noted, “His medical team says that he is on track for a speedy recovery, and over the next couple of days he plans to rest at home while working remotely.”

Governor Lamont underwent his first successful hip replacement on January 13, 2021, at HSS Stamford.
