Queens basketball coach named Jr. NBA Coach of the Year

Queens Daily Eagle reports youth basketball coach Jason Curry was honored as Jr. NBA Coach of the Year on May 17. Curry was also granted a $5,000 donation to support his youth basketball program - Big Apple Basketball. The program facilitates events and clinics, and provides mentorship and management to local teams. It’s curriculum prepares student athletes for college by helping them develop social skills, make connections, and obtain scholarships.

Earlier this year, Curry was awarded the Jr. Knicks Coach of the Year Award presented by HSS.
