Becker's Spine Review reported on Martin O'Malley, MD, foot and ankle surgeon at HSS, performing surgery to repair a ruptured right Achilles tendon sustained by Minnesota Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo.

The procedure was performed within 24 hours of the injury, which DiVincenzo suffered during game four of the team’s playoff series. 

Dr. O’Malley previously performed Achilles repair surgery on Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum in May 2025, who returned to play in about 10 months.
