HSS, LimaCorporate Create In-Hospital 3D Printing Facility

Orthopedics This Week reports HSS and LimaCorporate opened the first provider-based 3D design and printing facility (The ProMade PoC [point of care] Center) at the HSS main campus in New York City, for custom complex joint replacement solutions.

Having the talents of both visionary entities under one roof will create more accessible and personalized care for patients. Armed with over 14 years of clinical experience in 3D printing, LimaCorporate is well positioned to team up with HSS experts to solve even the most difficult orthopedic issues. HSS surgeons and engineers will work with LimaCorporate’s engineers to best utilize the Italian company’s patented, proven trabecular titanium technology.
