South Florida Hospital News reports that leading orthopedic surgeons from Florida and around the country discussed the latest advances in the field at the 7^th Annual Winter Technology & Innovation in Orthopedics Symposium in Fort Lauderdale. The event, hosted by HSS Florida in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic Florida, Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute and the University of Miami Health System, took place at the W Hotel on January 27 and 28.

Almost 100 distinguished experts from around the country presented talks on novel techniques and technologies, evidence-based treatments and advanced recovery and pain protocols. More than 260 health professionals attended the symposium in person or via live stream. They were able to earn continuing medical education credits while increasing their knowledge and skills in the areas of knee and hip surgery and joint replacement; joint preservation; shoulder surgery; spine surgery; and sports medicine.
