How will the Giants evaluate a prospect with a concussion history like Josh Rosen?

NJ.com reported that college quarterback Josh Rosen, who suffered two concussions last year, recently entered the 2018 NFL Draft. As prospects go through medical examinations at the NFL Scouting Combine this week, HSS sports medicine surgeon and Head Team Physician for the NY Giants Scott A. Rodeo, MD, discussed how athletes with a history of concussions are evaluated.

Dr. Rodeo, who did not treat Rosen, explained "some concussions may not be documented, but the player who has numerous concussions, that's a bit of a red flag. If someone has had three or four concussions, there's a likelihood that they're going to have another one. So we try to get the number from the player. You may question the veracity of what he tells you, but we ask the player, and we also get the information from the colleges..."
