How to Deal With Hypothermia

MyFitnessPal featured HSS physical therapist Patrick Vignona PT, MSPT, SCS, Cert MDT in an article about how to prevent hypothermia while exercising outdoors in the winter months.

Before starting your exercise, Vignona advised completing a five to ten minute warmup. He recommended jumping jacks, high knees, skipping and any other movement to get the blood flowing.

Once your workout is complete, Vignona said to make sure you cool down by walking and stretching to lower your heart rate.
