Hospital for Special Surgery to open in Industry City

Crain’s New York Business reports HSS is set to open an outpatient center in Brooklyn’s Industry City on December 9, 2019. The 14,000-square-foot center will provide nonoperative musculoskeletal care, including a physical therapy and sports performance program, and will mark the hospital’s inaugural presence in Brooklyn.

Crain’s New York Business spoke to John Finger, senior vice president of regional markets at HSS, about the opening of this new facility, who said, “For us, it’s all about making it convenient for the community to get access to our services.” Additionally, he noted, “Industry City is a really vibrant new location for work and play. That was very attractive for us.”
