Orthopedics Today reports that HSS has announced Mary E. Cassai, MPA, BSN, RN, NEA-BC, as executive vice president and chief operating officer, who will assume her new role on August 14. 

Cassai had previously served in multiple roles in her 16 years at New York-Presbyterian, serving as senior vice president of perioperative services before joining HSS.
