Giants legend Amani Toomer participates in Bike HSS for charity
The New York Giants highlights the training program and journey of former Giants wide receiver and HSS patient Amani Toomer as he prepares to participate in Bike HSS, a fundraising event in support of improved mobility and musculoskeletal health for people worldwide.
“Bike HSS is the perfect way that we can try to raise money to help support all of the research and clinical needs that we focus on at the hospital,” noted Bryan T. Kelly, MD, MBA, surgeon-in-chief at HSS.
Toomer said, “HSS is special to me because they put both of my knees together. I had double ACL surgeries and ended up in the ‘Giants Ring of Honor’ which never would have happened if I hadn’t have gotten my knees put together the right way.”
