Garrett Whitlock undergoes successful surgery

MLB.com reports Boston Red Sox right-handed pitcher Garrett Whitlock underwent a successful right hip arthroscopy performed by Bryan T. Kelly, MD, MBA, surgeon-in-chief and medical director at HSS.

Whitlock is expected to be ready for the start of the 2023 season.
