Feel-good Stretches for Psoriatic Arthritis
Health Central shares stretches recommended by HSS physical therapist Katherine Wilson, PT, DPT, to help relieve the pain of Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) and ease the mental stress that can exacerbate symptoms.
Wilson advised patients to talk to their physician about any specific muscle aches, mobility restrictions, and joint concerns they might have. Once receiving the go-ahead to exercise, she recommended performing three to four of the stretches each day, prioritizing ones that address joints or muscle groups that feel particularly tight or achy.
