Experts cite different approaches to try for methotrexate-related nausea, fatigue

MDedge reports on a panel discussion at the Winter Rheumatology Symposium sponsored by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) that covered different approaches to treat methotrexate-related nausea and fatigue.

Vivian P. Bykerk, BSc, MD, FRCPC, rheumatologist at HSS, explained that some ongoing work is demonstrating a benefit with sublingual B-12 for methotrexate intolerance in general and appears to allow for much higher methotrexate dosing.
