Exercise Helps Blunt the Effects of Covid-19, Study Suggests

The Wall Street Journal reports on a study published in the American Journal of Preventative Medicine showing that people who exercise regularly had lower rates of hospitalization and fatality from COVID19. 

“Exercise is as effective as many of the drugs that we use and has no side effects," said Jordan D. Metzl, MD, sports medicine physician at HSS who wasn’t involved with the study. “We want to get people taking it every day.”
