Everything changed in an instant for Michigan guard playing his best basketball

MLive.com reported on Michigan Wolverines guard L.J. Cason’s torn ACL featuring insight from Andrew Pearle, MD, sports medicine surgeon at HSS. 

After suffering from the injury back in February during Michigan's Big Ten champion-clinching win at Illinois, Cason’s surgery is set for April 9, a few days after the national championship. Dr. Pearle told MLive that delaying the surgery can often be advantageous. The first season back, he said, is always difficult as the patient is usually tentative on the injured knee.
