Proper sleep lowers stress levels, which is a big trigger for patients with PsA. However, if pain of aching joints or discomfort from sensitive skin is keeping you awake at night, it might be time to try a new regimen. “Your doctor may be able to suggest medication specifically to help you sleep better,” said Dr. Chan.
