Course - Musculoskeletal Radiology: Pearls for the Rheumatologist

The radiologic diagnosis of joint diseases can be challenging, particularly when the disease is uncommon, the manifestations are unusual or the findings overlap with multiple diagnoses. John A. Carrino, MD, MPH, Vice Chairman of the Department of Radiology and Imaging at Hospital or Special Surgery, will review the radiographic findings of joint diseases through a case-based approach. He will discuss the merits and limitations of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound (US), computerized tomography (CT) and radiography for rheumatology applications, emphasizing an organized, systematic method of evaluation.
