Honda Classic: Jupiter’s Daniel Berger feels stronger than ever after four-month injury layoff

The Ledger reports Daniel Berger took a four-month hiatus from the PGA Tour to recover from a thumb injury. Berger saw numerous doctors, including Michelle G. Carlson, MD, hand and upper extremity surgeon at HSS, and was treated with injections to reduce the inflammation. Berger also wore a brace for a month and during that time, worked with his personal trainer to strengthen his lower body. Berger stated, “I’m the strongest I’ve been in my lower half, and now its more just building up the strength in my upper body.”
