Does Humidity Make Your Joints Hurt? Here’s Why, and What to Do About It

“Humidity seems to be the biggest culprit, but we don’t actually know why,” said Anne R. Bass, MD, rheumatologist at HSS. Dr. Bass noted activity typically makes stiffness better, and even a little bit of exercise can help ease the pain, when performed correctly.
