Dalai Lama treated at Hospital for Special Surgery

Becker's Orthopedic Review reports The Dalai Lama had a knee replacement at HSS on June 28.

He is expected to make a full recovery and was discharged June 30, said David J. Mayman, MD, Chief of the Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Service at HSS

The Dalai Lama is the 14th dalai lama and is the head of Tibetan Buddhism.
