SportsTalkATL.com discusses a typical recovery for a broken pinky according to Michelle G. Carlson, MD, hand and upper extremity surgeon at HSS, in wake of Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies’ injury.

According to Dr. Carlson,  who did not treat Albies, “It depends on the type of break. Three to four weeks would be the fastest. Most common is six weeks.”
