Best Pillows From Consumer Reports' Tests

Consumer Reports evaluates different brands of pillows to determine how well each type supports the head and neck of people of all sizes and their sleeping position.

Consumer Reports observed the more expensive pillows outperformed the cheaper pillows. Joel M. Press, MD, Physiatrist-in-Chief at HSS, provided commentary to the outlet and advised, “You need to find a pillow that doesn't crane your neck in any position—the idea is to keep your neck as neutral as possible when you sleep.”
