Hospital for Special Surgery creates medical leadership office to ensure high standards are met — 3 takeaways

Becker’s Spine Review reports on the newly established Office of Medical Leadership at HSS under the direction of the incoming HSS Surgeon-in-Chief, Bryan T. Kelly, MD. The new office will ensure the highest standards in patient care, teaching, research and innovation.

Douglas E. Padgett, MD, current chief of the Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Service (ARJR) at HSS, will assume the new role of Associate Surgeon-in-Chief and Deputy Medical Director, effective July 1. Mathias P. Bostrom, MD, hip and knee surgeon at HSS, will succeed Dr. Padgett as chief of the HSS ARJR Service.
