The Palm Beach Post reports that top medical providers including HSS are expanding to Palm Beach County. 

In January 2020, just prior to the pandemic, HSS opened a 60,000 square foot complex at Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard near North Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. At the time, HSS officials said they wanted to bring their medical services to the growing, aging and affluent Florida community. 

Despite the pandemic, in just four years, HSS's West Palm Beach growth has exceeded expectations. “Absolutely, it's been faster than planned,” said Tara McCoy, HSS Florida CEO.

HSS Florida already counts 40,000 patients, featuring a mix of active adults including retirees. Patients also include elite athletes as well as dancers from the Miami City Ballet, McCoy said. 

This demand has led HSS to double the number of physicians in West Palm Beach from seven to 14, with that figure expected to grow to 20 McCoy said.
