Becker's Spine Review reports the FDA cleared an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction implant for pediatric use, which has pediatric-specific instrumentation and is now the only ACL fixation device cleared for young patients.

HSS sports medicine surgeon Frank A. Cordasco, MD, MS, and pediatric orthopedic surgeon Daniel W. Green, MD, MS, FAAP, FACS, helped develop the implant.
