In September 2024, Dr. Barad was appointed the inaugural chief digital and technology officer at HSS. A physician executive with over 18 years of clinical and digital innovation experience, Dr. Barad previously served as chief digital and information officer at Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network, where he led initiatives in AI, digital health and data analytics. At HSS, he leads enterprise wide digital strategy and technology operations to enhance patient outcomes, elevate care delivery and modernize the patient experience.
