There is good news, though. Strength training while taking a GLP-1 can help preserve muscle mass. That’s because it signals to your body that it’s important to keep muscle, said Pasquin.
Without strength training, Pasquin explained, your body is quick to ditch muscle. That said, there are three strength moves Pasquin recommends to support muscle preservation while on a GLP-1.
