News 12 NJ reports on Pierce Olson, the 2022 Heart of a Giant finalist and an aspiring orthopedic surgeon who is following his passion for medicine.  

Pierce recently visited HSS and shadowed sports medicine surgeon Samuel A. Taylor, MD, and pediatric orthopedic surgeon David M. Scher, MD.  His younger brother, Leo has cerebral palsy and is a patient of Dr. Scher.
