WAG Magazine honors HSS sports medicine surgeons Andreas H. Gomoll, MD and Sabrina M. Strickland, MD, as recipients of the 2021 Doctors of Distinction with the “Power Couple” award.

The article noted physician couples might be fairly common, but the combination of Drs. Gomoll and Strickland as two orthopedic surgeons performing a large number of revision knee surgeries is rare.

They are noted to have combined their clinical research using an online patient study platform as well as test surgical techniques in the Bioskills Lab and study pathological conditions using 3D printing to discover new surgical innovations.
